In 2024, the National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC) released proposals to make major changes to the labour laws.
As the Campaign to Scrap the Labour Law Amendment Bills, we campaigned, protested and wrote a submission. We condemned the changes because they were aimed at making it easier for the bosses to fire workers.
