The women workers, all of whom are vulnerable (either single mothers, or breadwinners to large families) held a peaceful protest outside the Nature's Garden (frozen vegetables) factory on 10 October, to highlight their longstanding demand to be made permanent, in line with the Labour Relations Act which states that all workers hired through labour brokers must be employed directly by the client company after 3 months.
